Privacy policy

Saved content
Links, shared text, titles, categories, images and edit records are stored first in COLLE's shared container on your device, used by the app and its share extension. COLLE requires no separate account and has no developer-operated server for storing your collection.
iCloud sync
When iCloud is available and sync is enabled, saved content, categories, images and sync state are stored through Apple CloudKit in your Apple Account's private database, for syncing and recovery across your devices. The developer does not receive your Apple Account password through COLLE. Apple's privacy policy applies to its iCloud services.
Clipboard
When you open or return to COLLE, the app checks for newly copied links and reads relevant clipboard content when iOS permits, to prefill the add screen. You confirm each save. COLLE does not continuously monitor the clipboard in the background.
Previews and external links
COLLE requests public webpages and images associated with saved links to retrieve titles and covers. Requests may follow redirects or contact the source's content delivery services. App Store app information is fetched from Apple's public lookup service. Some previews use a temporary webpage without persistent browsing storage. These services receive the requested URL, your IP address and necessary connection information. COLLE does not use your login from other apps to bypass access restrictions. When you open original content, that app or website's privacy policy applies.
Purchases
Apple StoreKit handles Pro purchases and restoration. COLLE verifies purchase transactions and entitlement status to provide paid features. The developer does not receive your payment card details. Apple handles payment information under its policies.
Support and this website
If you email support, we receive your email address and the content you choose to provide, solely to handle your request. Please avoid sending passwords or unnecessary sensitive information. This site is hosted on GitHub Pages and adds no advertising, analytics scripts or tracking cookies. GitHub logs visitor IP addresses for security purposes; see the GitHub Privacy Statement.
Retention, deletion and controls
Saved content remains until you delete it. With sync enabled, deletion syncs across devices. Deletion markers without the saved content may remain to prevent older devices from restoring deleted items. Uninstalling COLLE does not itself delete iCloud data. You can delete items in COLLE and allow sync to finish, or use available iCloud data management controls. Turning off iCloud sync in COLLE settings does not automatically delete existing cloud data. Support emails are retained for handling requests and necessary records. Contact us to request access to or deletion of information you supplied to support.
Advertising and analytics
COLLE includes no advertising SDK or third-party behavioral analytics SDK. We do not sell personal information or track you across apps for advertising.
